Pillar Recommendations
The APSS Pillar Committees are made up of healthcare professionals and community members with diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise related to stroke care.

These committees have developed recommended guidelines for provincial 'Standards of Care' for the purpose of improving stroke functional and quality of life outcomes in Alberta. These recommended evidence based standards of care will be instrumental in setting the goals and directions of stroke services in all Health Regions of Alberta.
